On January 23, 2012, our firm will be starting a trial in federal court in St. Louis, Missouri on behalf of a client who developed osteonecrosis of the jaw (dead jaw bone) after using Aredia and Zometa, drugs manufactured by Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation. To date, there have been four trials involving Aredia and Zometa, with the plaintiffs winning two cases and Novartis winning two cases. The trial is expected to last from two to three weeks.
